![]() Great photo of me with my boys & Father Lyle. In talking with other collectors I have found a lot of good info regarding the history of flying discs, lots of the time I take the most repeated story & make it mine, not sure if I got the correct info but I run with it! We need to be careful with the info we repeat to others, Many times it could be incorrect. A good example would be the common story you find on line regarding the origions for the first plastic disc, I will not name the person responsiable but lets just say it does not jive with the story of Fred Morrison who made the first plastic disc! People talk about facts about flying discs that just are not true or accurate, Very few people were standing at the molding machine when they popped out the first disc of a mold, what color disc, stamp, plastic. CE plastic is a good example, what disc belongs to what run? Tuff info to get right. Father Lyle is quite the sleuth when tracking down info on discs, his latest is what Aviar came first? Smooth bottom or small Pat Pend? My point is do not repeat info about a disc that could be wrong if there is any bought in your mind, simply say your not sure.
