I can not believe the growth of Disc Golf! So many new players & products. Our local event Vintage Cup had its biggest numbers ever. I just could not be more happy for the Frisbee family. I am glad I have stopped buying all the latest plastic. I have been watching a lot of in the bag interviews & there are so many new disc companies I have never heard of! Well up & out to the course to have some fun, as always you head to the course & there are infinite possibilities!

I would dream of tournament play, local pin location at Skyline Park, plastic I did not have. The thoughts I woke up to this morning is how to get a better room sound, what mic works best for what job, learning to solo on my guitar better. I am blessed to have my music & plastic at the same place to play with on the daily! Its go time, get it done & enjoy yourself.

I got these about a month ago, the last discs I have paid for! ( I have done some trading ) I got these thinking like I always do that some day they will be support collectable, I have come to learn that only happens with a handful of discs. Retirement is getting close & as I meet people trying to sell off collections I understand I have a big job ahead of me! It took a few decades to get here so I got work to do but not at a fast pace just for fun! Let me know if you would like anything for your collection!

Traveling through Texas I got a chance at a ODOC ROC, I like all ROC's & had a chance once before to add one of these beauties to my collection. I ended up with several other discs & was over stuffed in my suit case so I had to ship. Short on time on a Sunday I stopped at a Fed EX & had them not only ship but pack as well. They only use bubble wrap, as a result I believe that was the cause of the breakage! The disc was CE plastic & as I have found out the plastic can get brittle. I think if I had packed it with not only bubble wrap but packing peanuts it would have survived. Peanuts in-between the discs as well as around the bubble wrapped disc would have made the difference! The peanuts filling the shipping box is also key so as it can not get crushed! Next time I will just carry it!

I always liked to hear people on the course at Skyline complain about different things, mostly rollaways! This is high season for that now, Yesterday I was that guy! Not much was going where I was aiming. I was in good company so its all good. I signed up for the Japan Open, I best get to putting practice!

Love collecting plastic but sure glad I have slowed down! I will be going through my stuff & try to pull out duplicates for sale. The music studio is my main focus along with making music with my band & musical friends! Cheers!

Always good to get out & play some new courses! It is such a warm feeling to meet new people & have them be so welcoming! I played well that last week of June, felt like my old self. I like to stop at pro shops & this was a good one, had cool plastic I had never seen before, drinks & snacks & most important ....a friendly attitude! Nashville has a bunch of courses around town. We drove to Macon Georgia, Just passing through, for a town of 150,000 they had 10 courses, I asked the young man working the valet if he played the game, he had never heard of it? Is it possible he is the last to know? I gave him a mini & told him to check it out!

Sounds like the PDGA just approved it's 2,500 disc for the game of golf! I ran into some guys throwing Lone Star Discs, gave it a try! Nice but I never did meet a disc that I didn't like. I am meeting new people all the time playing the game! Enjoy & be nice to others in the Frisbee Family!
