I grew up in California. It will always bee my home. So far this year I have done 2 month long road trips. Along the way I have been made to feel unwelcome because I am from California. Unkind people see my car plates & shake their fists at me & tell me to go home. WTF! I was thinking we were all home & welcome in the U.S.A. The one place where its all chill is on the course, never had a problem being form out of state while hanging out with the Frisbee family. When in Napa California look me up & I will give you the tour at my home course, Everyone is welcome!
The latest.......Music studio is happening in October, Flying Disc Collector Festival is also happening in October! The collection is migrating to the barn. My birthday is tomorrow & it looks like it will be a day at the lake on the boat with friends & family! With that said I need to find the tube & get the boat ready!
Love my Frisbee Family & always have a good time on the course. Everyone wants to play by the rules but rules change each year. What is easy is to play in a courteous manner. Here is a short list of basics on the course. No talking when someone is making a throw, Do not throw till the group ahead of you has finished the hole. Farthest out is up to take their turn. Stay behind the person putting as best as you can. Help look for a lost disc. If you need to smoke do it at a minimum or not at all during fire season. Now go have fun!
I played Berkeley with Kayden last Friday. Not much has changed at Aquatic Park when I took his dad at the same age. Got through without loosing a disc, a major accomplishment for sure. Lots of disc history at this location, I learned to play in the wind here, I miss it & will be back soon! Enjoy the game!
Michael Ruzicka was a U.F.O. when I first got to know him. Turns out we were both from Southern California & did not live far from each other. Many years ago we tried to meet up to play some disc & I got lost so you know that was before cell phones! Lets just say this last meeting in Bend it was easy to find him!
