I had been working on cool discs as far as photos, now that I have been doing the re numbering I have been taking photos too! My photo skills need some work so as I move ahead I hope to take better shots of my plastic, so far 6 boxes down about 95 to go. I am thinking late summer. I could get this all together and just stop collecting that way it will all be in order! I am sure that I will keep going but there are more companies making discs and it is tuff to keep up with everything but I guess that is what mak

Ok, I had to get organized to start the re numbering. Lets see how long it takes!
My collection was last numbered about 4 years ago. I have all my plastic on a spread sheet. All discs are numbered bagged and boxed. There are 2 problems, 1 is that in the last few years the new discs I get are added to my spread sheet in the order that it belongs with a number and letter, say I had a disc that needed to go after disc # 333 this disc is # 333a. The box is already full so it goes to the end of the collection with other numbered and lettered discs. problem # 2 is that over the years of doing disc displays things have got a little out of sorts, My plan is to renumber all my discs and get everything together where it goes. I could have this done in the next 3 months!
I will have my camera so that I can take photos to add to the site, when I am done I hope to add the complete list for everyone to see. On my list I have a Manufacturer, Description, color, condition and value. I will be increasing the value on many discs as I update the list, I have had a few people tell me that some stuff was under valued, my insurance needs a new list as well! Well the journey of 100 boxes starts with the first one I think this year ( 18th ) was one of the best. Time of year made the difference. Warm and dry is the way to go! Many of the 132 players camped. It was a lot of work but our little group is becoming a club! How to make it better next year? I was leading in the Pro Masters after the first round but flailed in the wind the second, tied for second I did some rookie moves running shots that I should have layed up ( costing me extra throws ) for the second year I finished 3rd! The only negative thing I can see is the Big egos that a few players have. The constant complaining is not only rude but a distraction to other players. I think the PDGA needs to address this in the rule book so people can give warnings just like if someone was cussing and kicking their bag down the fairway they would get a warning! I have seen it over and over again, bad behavior from great players. Is it because they have gone all in to the sport and find the money is not enough to support them? Is traveling the country making new friends and seeing new places not enough? I know most of the top people in the game would like to see this become more than it is. We all need to be our best and show we as players respect our game, then maybe some day it will all come together but for me I like being undercover and play a game called disc golf, its just Frisbee!
