2013 Vintage Cup

The 2013 Vintage Cup will be on March 2nd and 3rd. This will be our 18th year! Things that I look forward to during this event  this year are, seeing old friends, competing in a new division! Always the disc display. That display was what got me to start this site, it is no fun to have all this cool plastic if no one can see them! Doubles on the temp course on Friday the 1st. Saturday night Dinner with a keg of beer and live music.
I am not looking forward to getting the course in order, there is so much to do! The soggy conditions that could be present make me feel dread. Overall it is sure to be a ton of fun, I need to practice more, first I need to finish this site, so onward!

Two questions Marvin...I used to live next to OakGrove and played all the time but that was it (played Ultimate). I collect Wham-o . Collection wise...what is your favorite golf disc ? and if what golf disc do you predict to be the best future collectable ? Thanks Neal

Neal, My favoriate Golf Disc has to be the transitional disc that Innova made between the original Eagle and the Aero, the numbers on these discs are really low, could be as few as 15 are still around, also I find that almost no one knows about them, I think most people would say the ROC has everyone attention and is going to continue to be popular. It really is hard to guess what is going to be a big seller in the future. I would look to find older plastic like the Original Eagles. You can get them for a good price usually, so think old school and look for discs in the best condition. I also like to collect first run stamped discs!
