Napa Disc Club!

It is great to finally have some sort of a real club! Just before the 21st Vintage Cup last February I called a meeting of interested Disc Golfers and we started to iron out the details on what will be a player run club. Lots of talk on many topics has been slow but there is headway. We will have voted officers and by laws! I really like how social media helps keep the group together. 

As a group we have made many upgrades to our course, had a super successful Bag Tag challenge and our weekly events are having record numbers! After all this time it has finally happened, what used to be the best kept secret in disc golf is out of the bag, I see new people every time I go out to the course. I saw a group that had 3 generations of family members, that is what I am talking about. 

It is a real treat to grow the Frisbee family here at home, We are lucky to have so many people willing to do what it takes to get stuff done. We have been a one weekend event for a long time, I hear talk of running a Pro and a Am events on different weekends. Looks like we will be setting attendance records! Thank You to all who chose to be involved. We have something special here in Whinecountry, I look forward to what is next!
