Most events in the Nor-Cal series have a Pro and Am weekends. Vintage Cup is one of the last events to be both on one weekend. Not a problem if you use the Archery area and set up a second course. Problem in the winter and spring is that it is usually wet and it makes footing tuff.
The idea for this year is to make 5 or 6 tee boxes (on some of the sloppier areas) that will be made of 2X6s and plywood using either a rubber pad or upside-down carpet for footing.
I have used pads like these on the east cost and they seem to work well. Even better I hope for dry weather the week leading up
